This time am sharing another love, done in acrylics and it's one of my favorite one's poppies, airy , light, carefree. They are like the messengers carrying pollens from one area to another to initiate growth and start new beginnings, funny we involve flowers into all occasions of our life. Botanical Explorations 1

I have always loved flowers not only they are beautiful but it's just the way they make you feel, instantaneously happy and calm. There is a little exercise that I had been doing for a few days, painting flowers sometimes in watercolor other times in mixed media. As a subject I find it to be very very forgiving and diverse. As I had mentioned before I like organic shapes and flowers fall into that same pattern. I don't know to be a kid I always thought that botanical are really hard to paint but later on in college when I had Botany( the study of plant life) as a minor I had to draw diverse type of flowers and leaves and anything and everything in-between as a part of my credits and only then I found them to be magical and very satisfying.
