Yet another digital abstract to share , and i was actually thinking of sharing the tutorial showing the process of building up these abstracts in Photoshop.Let see how it goes and when i can finally start to share with you.But for the time being please enjoy.

Illustration Sunday

Well this is yet another Sunday and todays illustrations is a portrait attempt in acrylic, I had been playing with is idea in my mind for a while now and would be posting some more attempts of portrait in different mediums in my coming blog post.

The initial building process was a bit time consuming and i wont say that this is the best attempt but nonetheless am sharing my not so perfect art journey with you and its just like that.I named her Niharika which means Andomeda Constellation

Find one thing that calms you down

Self healing is the best and the most effective way , find one simple thing that heals you and makes you happy from inside.It can be anything like listening to music , talking to a friend, pursuing a hobby , helping others, or may be making art and craft like me.Identify that any the next time you are angry do that out mind are like trains you are the one to drive your thoughts from one station to the next.

You can even start gardening and in no time you will have a companion,healthy and loving smiling at you.

Abstract Thursday

The initial visual picture in my mind was that of drops accumulating at one concentric point.But I am happy with what it turned out.Sometimes you just have to sit and paint and let things grow in its own pace rather than controlling the process all by its own.

Clean artist

Do you know whats the best part of being an digital artist ? you can rise from your table wash you hands

with plain water and continue with your daily chores.I don't need to wear an apron which btw i forget

 most even when am painting in other medium.So i was thinking about this idea and it stuck me even an virtual medium an engage you in a similar way just as an original one.I work in both medium and each of them have their own magic someday am so excited that i keep on hoping from one to another

but most of the time its either digital or all elbow grease.I have been practicing digital art from 2004 so it's about 10 yrs and i can say the software i use are no longer just computer generated programs rather they are companions in crime(wink),to create absolutely stunning abstract.Today is not a promised day for abstract but for the sake of the post i will share one.

As promised illustration for this Sunday is this fish with corals , i didn't realize that on the way the fish turned out to be whimsical.I really enjoyed painting it love the vibrant colors and patterns and really happy to share with you.

Something that i wanted to share

Lately i am really interested in cockatoo and other species of parrots ,here I am assuming that you know that cockatoo is also a type of parrot. Wait if I think back I  had been eager to learn about cockatoo since i learned from my dad that we use to have a cockatoo at home when he was in college and it was one talkative bird.

So coming back to my present obsession cockatoo I had found there is indeed a lot to learn about them and I will link some websites and videos if you are also interested in the same.On my quest to learn about cockatoo I came to know a lot about parrots in general ,now before going forward I would like to mention I use to have a parrot named mithu and we had a very strong bonding till my brother was born to distract me .I got obsessed with him so much that I forgot mithu for a while but things ultimately settled down only to the despair that it died when my brother was few years old.

While learning about parrot I came across some brilliant video in youtube which you might also find amazing.Oh I even came to knew that cockatoos need a lot of attention and time from the owner which got me thinking do I really have that amout of time to give to my pet,I don’t want to repeat the same mistake that I did with mithu it had been a life long guilt .I don’t want another guilt hanging around bothering me, nonetheless here are some good info about cockatoo and parrots that you can explore if you are also interested.

Whimsical Dolls

Created  two guys Hinky and Pinky last weekend from paper mache.As you can see there are very curious and tempered couple . Pinky wantes to go to fair Hinky wanted to fish all day but he had to go with her.But they had icecream and came back happy.

Answers to questions

Some events in our life changes it in a completely different way, we keep on questioning  why did it happened to me? and all you get is a pure silence.Look for answers because you really need to look hard but don;t forget to live,sometimes it takes about years to find that why and may be when you get you have already changed to something better.Changes are not always devastrating a lot of time they are just start to a beautiful future.

Its always better to accept things as they are rather than questioning events which doesn't have an answer , just be content that one day you will have the answers.Move on with life and be thankful to god that he choose you to give that lesson.

Seeds on newly made substrate does it really look cool! no they don't but one day they will bloom to beautiful plants.

Ideas

When trying makes you stale divert your mind ,relax, break the strain.Ideas will start flowing again.

Its one of those lazy Sunday afternoons and you don't know what to do and end up with a fat bird,Texas summer has one good thing long days with a lot of daylight, you are never short of it .
