Something New
From now on i will try to share about my culture with you , anything and everything.I am a from eastern part of India and i think i have a lot to say about my place, my city and its art & culture. With that i regularly share artist now and then who have influence people around with their work around the world.Yes it would be a roller coaster ride but who doesn't like it ? I know i do and i think you will too.
I just wanted to share a laugh i don't own this image and thought this is really funny rather than those smileys!.
Abstract thursday
Yet another lovely bright Thursday and its early morning am working on my new style illustrations its kinda like a science experiment the more you do the more you understand and obviously fail on the way.If i had learned that failure is one way to know things better i had done a lot of things which i had left behind as constant failure is alarming .I will continue with my failure stuff but let me share the abstract for this thursday
This piece is yet another digital abstract and its inspired from my love for music, no matter how bad the day is music helps me to go on.I am from east India and my own music lessons where form that part .My mom is a avid lover of music and so i grew up in an environment with music poetry and obviously painting.I am very grateful to her for the person i am today .My thoughts and my works are highly influenced by those evenings and afternoons which i use to spend with her.I was trained with music from east Indian traditional songs for about 15 years and they still play in my head or on my system while i paint.

Its okay to say no to someone sometimes
We are all responsible for our emotional situation so it is on our hands how we react to people and situation. If something is not okay for you say it , you are not responsible for how people think about you.Its just their opinion and its alright to say no or say what? sometimes to someone on their face.So the next time when they try to do something like that they would be more aware of the whole situation.

Just a thought
Its just fascinating to think that all our life we get to see different people , and although we can't really categorize them as they are so varied still we can say there are the ones who known how to live no matter what happens , they just accept life and move on and then there are the ones who don't know how to live in spite of everything what a good life has to offer they just look for reasons to complain and get stuck in one moment knowingly or unknowingly they create issues for people around them .So I think we should question us if our whimsical silly thoughts are even worth of cause you never know might be on the way you are hurting someone unknowingly . What we think is in our favor so why not be happy!

Belated post for Sunday Illustration
This is another pencil illustrations from my studio still experimenting to develop into a more diverse style of work .I am finding that the more i work i understand the subtle organic forms that appear during the process.Between the bringht digital and mixed media abstract these pencil medium is a kind of solace.

Abstract Thursday
Here comes another abstract Thursday, i am sitting in the library and working on my research of Indian folk art its kind of funny how i am finding similarity in with the former one with folk art of other continents. It almost like the works are saying and shouting to me "we are all born out of same kind of apes!" sorry i was just kidding but nonetheless when ever i look into folk art of different country nature is the main inspiration in all of them and might be the type of foliage is different but nonetheless all are the same with their own uniqueness. The abstract that am going to share is also inspired from nature.

Find new horizons
Life is full of challenges and try to meet some of them everyday, do a little everyday that courage which helps you to move today will help you tomorrow and before you know the challenge is over.Set new horizons new goals for yourself . Success doesn't happens in a day it takes months and years but if persistent am sure to reach some where. It can happen that ideas change and even your goals but don't stop moving for that is more important than anything else.
I found this on deviant art its a lovely photo from @ photowoman. Kudos!
Illustrations Sunday
Today I am going to share something new , for a while now i was experimenting on merging watercolor with digital abstracts and it turns out that the results are actually not that bad.
Its not really amazing and i think i need to work more on this same subject , other than that life is awesome and am pushing my boundaries as an artist and as a blogger which you can see am not really good at,but i will keep on trying and might be someday i will turn into a fine blogger! you know what i mean.(wink)

Clovis point donated at Smithsonian Institute
Noah Cordle donates the 14,000-year-old artifact to museum after finding it while boogie boarding on vacation in New Jersey; he thought it was a crab at first

Noah Cordle was boogie boarding when a sharp object hit his foot. Thinking it was a crab he jumped back. But upon noticing its dark color, the 10-year-old plucked it from the surf only to discover it was an arrowhead.
Turns out, the object he found in the waters off Beach Haven, New Jersey, on summer vacation wasn’t just any arrowhead. It was a rare and “classic” Clovis point dating from 13,500 to 14,000 years ago, according to Smithsonian.com.
On Monday, Cordle, 10, and his family were at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History where he gifted the ancient artifact to the museum’s collection. The museum has several hundred Clovis points, but this is the first one collected from New Jersey.
“I was already pretty interested in science before this,” Cordle told the Washington Post. “But this brings it up to a whole new level.”

Clovis people are said to be among the first inhabitants of North America. The ancient hunters would attach Clovis points to spears and throw them at creatures like mastodon, according to Dennis Stanford, a Smithsonian expert in Paleoindian archaeology and stone tool technology.
“It’s been used and re-sharpened several times,” Stanford told Cordle of his artifact find.

Reasons vary why this Clovis point made of Jasper (a yellow-brown stone) is black. Stanford said it’s because it had been in saltwater for so long, left behind when sea levels rose after the Ice Age.
Greg Lattanzi, president of the Archaeological Society of New Jersey, told Asbury Park Pressthat the reason is because it was buried in the sand for thousands of years without oxygen.
Lattanzi also concluded that Hurricane Sandy made Cordle’s discovery possible, saying the post-Sandy beach-replenishment project north of Beach Haven helped scoop up the Clovis point and push it to shore.
“It’s actually pretty spectacular to have something that a place like the Smithsonian would actually want,” Brian Cordle told the Washington Post. “That’s more cool than anything. I don’t even know what it’s worth financially, but I know it’s not much compared to the excitement of all this.”
Making it all the more exciting is how the discovery was made in the first place. It was quite an oddity. Smithsonian.com noted that the people who find Clovis points are usually those who are looking for them.
“That’s never happened to anybody that I know of,” Stanford said about the Clovis point washing up at Cordle’s feet. “You gotta be in the right place at the right time or it will disappear just like that. He was really lucky.”
I was really moved by this post.
