Coming Back

I would start by saying a big sorry to all the people who follow this blog, you see as an artist its more like scientific research - you read stuff like art history, try to think what can you include in your own work and simultaneously work on your self made modus operandi.

Also as like most artist if you are not Damien Hirst or Andy Warhol its always better to stick to a day job and that's what I do.I am a web and application developer. Don't get me wrong I take my journey as an artist very seriously but if you don't have anything to eat the next morning you can't make art , anyone who had been a struggling artist knows this very well.

I think the last post that I wrote was a year back in June 2015 and that is very shameful for a blogger to his/her reader to ask for such patience, but you know what I am lucky in that sense I still have people visiting in my blog - I can't be thankful enough for that.I won't promise much but I can promise atleast one post per week from now.

Moving to what am working on lately are this line artworks with color pencil and occasionally I experiment with water color as well.

I really like organic patterns it has been a great part of my work because it comes very naturally to me so in a way they are naive and soulful , I think you get what am trying to describe here, I won't acknowledge them as doodling which is a very generalized term - because although the shapes are spontaneous they do have long hours of reading and experimentation behind them .

About the journey

I remember a few years back when i started posting my art on line , i meet amazing artist from social media. One day one of them suggested my a book named them " the artist way" by Julia Cameron. Its a inspirational book and it helps people like me in their creative pursuits.I wont say it inspired me as am always very excited about what i do and i don't need any more outside inspiration to follow my dreams. But in a way it inspires one to get methodical in what ever arena one is pursing,
I have found everything is disciple and training our mind to do what we need to do and the rest is the perseverance that counts.Till i can remember i was always into abstracts and one of the primary causes for that was my parents interest to art,but strangely enough i never thought of pursuing that for an career but it says we all have our calling and so was mine and now am deeply and uninhibitedly in love with my passion. Here in one of my earlier works in digital media done in 2006.
