The right time

I am sure we have heard it a million times that doing things the right time or before time is essential.I will say it is true for most part of our life at least the disciplines which really matter for us.On a long run they help tremendously,saves time and efforts improves our cognitive functions and overall makes us a better human being.

I am sure it this point you are thinking if i am asking you to live a discipline life well no technically i am not asking that as i know most of the people including me do not like that.I  have read in a lot of books that human beings are social creatures and we need to trick our brain to work sometimes.I just make sure to reward myself with little something, like a cup of coffee, a 10 min break, watching a trailer but I am always sure to go back to my work.

It really works try it.i have and i would say it is a rewarding experience.

What is fear?

Scientifically it is stated that basic premise of the biological or physiological explanation for the occurrence of fear and anxiety is that problems with brain functioning lead to anxiety disorders. For example, current research indicates that generalized anxiety disorder is caused by excessive neurological activity in the area of the brain that is responsible for emotional arousal, and this increased level of arousal is experienced as anxiety.

So we can say that we try to imagine the worst and the horrible and the anticipation of such things leads to more anxiety.If we think carefully it can be said that the basis of fear lies mostly in our perspective and how our brain is programmed. Recently i was reading a book related to marketing and there the author mentions what ever action and decisions we take and do in our life is relate to genetic blue prints ie how we are taught to think about a particular issue by our parents.So the basis of assumptions  rises from there. I have felt sometimes not thinking about a certain issue helps and at other approaching the matter from a different perspective talk to a friend or a near one(not a family member) they might have something else to offer.So next time something negative comes up in your mind stop for a while and think if its your genes which are shouting and making you anxious.

Contest/Competitions/Exhibitions

I want to share with my art loving blogger that even if you are into a location where there are not much art groups and establishment you can always look for on line contest and competitions.They are good with respect to gaining more exposure and building audience.No matter if you are just starting out as an artist or an entrepreneur in any discipline building audience and generating traffic is really important.
I would suggest to look for them in different social medias and all the best with the connections you make on the way.Since i started my journey i have meet numerous people on line and made some really god friends from all over the world.

Going back to my original idea with an example.This is an example of small ones that you can win and because these kind of website have international exposure your work is exposed to the right kind of people and an unbiased assessment of your art.Well this one made my day.

About the journey

I remember a few years back when i started posting my art on line , i meet amazing artist from social media.One day one of them suggested my a book named them " the artist way" by Julia Cameron.Its a inspirational book and it helps people like me in their creative pursuits.I wont say it inspired me as am always very excited about what i do and i don't need any more outside inspiration to follow my dreams.But in a way it inspires one to get methodical in what ever arena one is pursing,
I have found everything is disciple and training our mind to do what we need to do and the rest is the perseverance that counts.Till i can remember i was always into abstracts and one of the primary causes for that was my parents interest to art,but strangely enough i never thought of pursuing that for an career but it says we all have our calling and so was mine and now am deeply and uninhibitedly in love with my passion.Here in one of my earlier works in digital media done in 2006.

Get rid of things which hold you back

Sometimes we need to ask ourself about some one or a situation where you really need to ask yourself if you really need it.People who are important in life needs help and i am always willing to do that for them,but how much can you give ? that is one question i need to ask myself, how much can you listen to someone else when things in your life are at stale.

There are people who are very deserving and there are who have more than they need originally .And both are complaining , both need help.I feel some times its really helpful if you count what you have rather than what you don't.

The world if full of suffering its one big fact but don't I and you have our own struggles , is it really possible to thing about others and not do stuff which you are suppose to do.Each day is a blessing and we should live that to the fullest.My actions will drive me to a more better life. Live our life choose the people who helps you to move forward not the other way round.

Okay so this is another trail and learning process work I , lets say its just a lovely colorful piece and a predecessor of more awesome work on my way.Its just crazy where art can take you and how much I can research and learn from others .I was wondering the activity of birds near some water body during midday and this one came up.

Digital abstract: Medium : Mixed Media.Aceo 3/5 in

This week i was experimenting on creating mixed media projects merging abstract illustrations and digital drawings.The more i explore different medium and try to merge them digitally i realize that i need to include my doodling into life size paintings both in digital as well as in mixed media.I think i like mixed media because it doesn't restrict the creative process ,and one can overcome the challenges of a particular medium.Its more of a controlled way of creativity yes am saying controlled here because i feel even if my art is spontaneous i need to have the elements in right place on a canvas or else the expression loses its forms and takes up something else which i was not looking for.

Where i belong

I remember  to promise to write in this blog about where i belong , am going to do that today . From Calcutta(India) am a Bengali by birth and i do take pride in belonging to my city its versatile and colorful culture ,there's a wider acceptance or tolerance to people of  all religion caste creed and we all thrive in that beautifully ambience's .Am going to share a few photo post here from another photographer who has agreed to help be in describing and sketching it for me as i see from my eyes my city and my people.

Remembering my roots

I always think back and realize how I came such a long way what help did I get from each of the people around me. My family and friends had been and still is a huge support to me till today and i cant be thankful enough for them.Even if there were wrong people I am thankful for them to be in my life or else i would not have known what i know today things would have been different if they were not there.Relationships pays back you get what you give so i  try to give the best into
something because the more good you do to someone or something it will come back to you in someway or other.

The more struggles i went through i always asked myself why me and there was always an answer after a while for each of my questions that i asked.Each event or instances teaches us a lesson and life is the biggest teacher. Struggles and hardships brought courage and willingness to accept life as it is and will be after this

Everything that we face in our life makes us capable for the next situations and circumstances
to give more to receive more.I am never afraid of doing something new  at any given day , there had been instances where  things we at rock bottom for me but i never lost hope never stopped fighting for what i thought was right and what i believed.

Parts of my life near to me dear to me its not perfect but it's mine and its where i belong.

The hat (Digital Illustrations)

yet another Thursday and another abstract art work titled "the hat", of late i was exploring land textures and natural patterns and was really amazing by the fact that nature has innumerable ways to textures and it expresses it self everywhere from land to tree trunk to leaves,flowers,pollens,animals and so on and so forth .How about use those textures in my paintings and hence her hat in the above mentioned artwork is inspired from the same idea.

Minds journey to canvas

Sharing with you another illustration from my journey this piece titled "born out of mist" , the morning here in Texas are now unusually cold and snowy,she came to me gradually,i built her in early morning as the rays of sun touch the bits of grasses from my balcony.I think art finds its way to you  as if it was already there in your mind waiting to reach the canvas as reflections.

The post for this Thursday is Fusion in love, its a beautiful day and the weather is very pleasant my brushes are craving to paint something awesome today and i might go ahead a jump into it straight after am done with writing this post.Funny a few days back i read a book "The Artist way " and am finding that i can really bring those ideas in my studio and it might help me to decide that i have to paint no matter what , you know how we get muddled into day to day chores and think that we will paint when we are done with this or that but at the end its the art suffers and so do we as an artist, because that's all that matters we are here to send a message to say what we ought to say and in the process connect with our spiritual self and lead our journey of life.

Natural is always spontaneous and within it spontaneity it creates rhythm it creates patterns and every single thing is connected to that particular rhythm you and me are all part of it.

Digital abstract from my diary of abstracts, more on their way.have you ever seen a fuschia tree early morning in the rainy season here i will say rainy morning rather than mentioning which month as i don't know which part of world are you in and that when you encounter rain.

Nonetheless rainy morning, beautiful boliviana Fuschia and celtic music ,i find these combination a perfect environment to work in my studio.As i far as i can remember i always loved rain no wonder i was born in a when it rains enormously in calcutta , India . I had always loved the smell of water soaked soil , bright green leaves , mango custard and a good book of phrases.Its just pure bliss!!.

Its being a while

Its being a while that i posted here I am sorry but as we all know we are all human beings and that we have our own struggles to deal with .I  am a professional designer , developer and artist.So by that i mean i have long hours of sitting in my system and standing for the jobs i do.
So the other day someone bad mouth me and i started to think why are these people so bitter, are they such inside out or it's just their outward nature to be stable inside.
Then it came to be to create a balance ecosystem the forest have everything so similarly for a balanced society we also need those foul mouthed people ,its because of them and the actions that follows we learn to appreciate the good things in life.When every you are hurt or humiliated  next time just think its all in the karma.what ever you do that's what you get.

Kick Start after a long break

I had been very busy lately and was experimenting so much into illustration that i forgot to keep my promise for illustrations and abstract updates.Nonetheless i did some pretty good work lately keeping in mind that am just a beginner in this field and would like to share some with you guys today . Renaissance techniques take a long while to develop and emerge with your own style of work was trying out samples from google for watercolor Renaissance painting and came up with two items which i tried to copy . So before anything i should say they are not mine original paintings am just trying to learn the technique from them.
